Foreign agents, engineering a mysterious operation in the
frozen regions of Canada are the subject of a widespread
search by the Canadian Mounted Police. The search is
spearheaded by Mounties Sergeant Don Roberts (BILL HENRY)
who is aided by Kay Conway (SUSAN MORROW), an undercover
agent for the Canadian government. The foreign agents,
headed by Marlof (ARTHUR SPACE), who masquerades as an old
trapper, Smoky Joe; makes plans for the building of rocket
launching platforms from which his county can bombard
American and Canadian cities with atomic guided missiles
preparatory to invasion. The treacherous terrain of the
frozen North provides an exciting location for espionage
and sabotage. Harrowing chases by horseback, car, boat and
dogsled across brutal mountainscapes, dangerous gorges and
bottomless lakes provide thrill after thrill through 12
atomically-charged episodes!! This 1953 12-chapter
black-and-white serial was produced and directed by
Franklin Adreon, and runs approximately 169 minutes. It is
regions-free, all-ages and digitally remastered in NTSC
format, and offered here on two DVD-R discs that should
play on any standard DVD player.
