Diamonds lure evil men into the African jungles where a beautiful jungle girl, Nyoka Meredith, (FRANCES GIFFORD) protects natives and wildlife from treachery. Pilot Jack Stanton (TOM NEAL) and sidekick Eddie Acuff lend a hand. Unbeknownst to Nyoka, her father's criminal twin (TREVOR BARDETTE) has killed him and taken his place. Great vine-swinging action from ace serial director WILLIAM WITNEY with JOHN ENGLISH, and also stars GERALD MOHR and FRANK LACKTEEN. This is the "original" NYOKA of the silver screen, NYOKA AND THE TIGERMEN, and the NYOKA comic book from Fawcett came in the wake of this serial's success. This 15-chapter original 1941 release is digitally remastered in black & white, presented regions-free on two DVD-R discs, in NTSC format, runs 267 minutes, and should be playable on any standard DVD player.
